Dat At The Beach

Gamble Part 1

Bobbi sat back on her towel in the shining sun of the Alomomola Bay Beach. She had an ice cream in hand and gave the dairy treat a few tentative licks. With a smile, Bobbi look back out over the water.

She had just arrived in town today, looking for the current tasks handed out by the guild. Upon arrival Bobbi couldn't resist the temptation of the beach. The last time she had been in Alomomola , she hadn't gotten a chance to explore the sandy dunes. Not having a home after she had immigrated and the difficult journey had tired her, and fun in the sun was the last thing on her mind.

Now Bobbi felt a mini vacation was just the thing, a few hours on the beach, in her new scarf, with a treat was heaven on earth for hard working lickitung. Bobbi licked the one again, watching a few other pokemon gathered on the beach. There was an elderly Venomoth and Butterfree couple sunning. A Hitmonlee and his apparent Machop girlfriend giggling by the snack hut, and a young Growlithe was playing in the water , her parents nearby.

The sight of the girl caused Bobbi to sigh. She wished Toby had wanted to come, he would have had so much fun. Yet the toddler had refused, crying and huffing up a storm till Bobbi agreed to leave him with Brue and Sheridan again. Bobbi new Toby had been born in Alomomola and after a tail chopping event had floated him down stream to her. Bobbi had hoped to look into the Zangoose's past, but that would seem unlikely, as she hadn't the idea on where to start. Bobbi sighed and finished her frozen treat in one gulp. For now she should have a bit of a rest...
